The Broomfield Festival
The Broomfield Festival of music in aid of the Broomfield House Restoration Fund took place on 4 & 5 September 2004 in Broomfield Park's west field.
Broomfield Park is an action-packed expanse of green in the leafy suburbs of North London. The park is oozing in history. James I used Broomfield House as a hunting lodge, and today there is still a Victorian conservatory complete with waterfall and growing bananas open to the public. Kids can power vessels across the model boat pond, dangle off monkey bars in the adventure playground or tee-off on the fantastic crazy golf course. For the less energetic, there is an aviary full of prattling parrots dying to be heard and a tranquil remembrance garden ideal for quiet contemplation.
